February Wish List

I like shopping.

I don't think this is really a thing I've discussed here on this blog yet but I like shopping. Sort of how my dog likes playing ball. Which means obsessively while ignoring all other external factors and do not try to pet me while I am focusing I am working here. This analogy may have got away from me.

In any case, I like shopping. I can not always actually do the shopping I want to do because bills and money and being a grad student. I find that having to pay bills severely depletes my run around and buy all the things budget.

In any case, here are a few things from my February Wishlist. Most are not things I will end up seeing in my apartment, but they are all awesome and things I have my eye on.

1) Wingtip oxfords seem to be in everywhere I go and there are a bunch of different styles but this style by Born are my favourite. Classic look with awesome modern design on the wingtip. And because they're made by Born I know they've got to be incredibly comfortable! (What's more I have the perfect pair pants I want to wear them with and I know they'd be awesome for my internship this summer-- wherever that is.)

2) I've been on a Harry Potter movie kick lately, they're good to watch while I'm also trying to get some work done on my portfolio and write some essays. As much as I hate to admit it, I don't actually own all the movies though (my brother absconded off with some of those DVD's). I would really like to get the whole collection so I can do a proper marathon of 1-8 (imagine how many bathroom breaks that would take!). Plus, this way I'd be able to upgrade the movies to blu-ray which I've been itching to do for awhile. I also hear watching the maximum movie mode is awesome and I want to try that out.

3) This one is really something that I think my feet need right now. Even though it doesn't always get frigid here in Austin, there are some nights that it does get cold and my feet do get frozen. The solution? Unicorn slippers! To keep your toes toasty and magical! (You can get these amazing slippers at ThinkGeek which is one of the most awesome online stores ever)
